§ Mr. Michael Morrisasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what action he proposes to take, in view of the response he has had to the absence of any specific proposals in the Water Industry Review, for increasing representation of local government on the regional water authorities.
§ Mr. Denis HowellThe local authorities have more than half the membership of the regional water authorities at present, but I shall certainly study all the comments put forward on this matter.
