§ Mrs. Sally Oppenheimasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will investigate the practice in operation in some parts of the country whereby existing telephone subscribers are subsidising special offers to new telephone subscribers; and if she is satisfied that this is in conformity with the Price Code.
§ Mr. MaclennanPromotional activity is a matter for the commercial judgment of the Post Office management. It is my understanding that these activities do not contravene the Price Code.
