Police statistics are not kept on county, county borough or district council basis but in Police Division N. which includes Londonderry City there were 495 terrorist-type incidents during 1975, and 399 in 1976 to 30th June.

There are no figures readily available for terrorist crimes solved. In 1975, however, 58 people were charged with terrorist-type offences in Police Division N in 1976. Up to and including 30th June, 41 people were so charged.
