HC Deb 02 August 1976 vol 916 c645W
Mrs. Jeger

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what plans have been agreed for alterations and redecoration of the Patent Office library; what is the estimated cost; and whether the library will have to be closed.

Mr. Shore

The British Library is employing the Property Services Agency to carry out refurbishment works and modifications to the layout of the Patent Office library, at a cost of £61,800. I understand the reading room will be closed for two weeks, but an emergency service will be available to readers.
