Mr. Maxwell-Hyslop

asked the Lord President of the Council what arrangements he has made for the safe and acces sible custody of the papers, books, personal belongings, items of equipment, etc., which in his letter dated 23rd July the Assistant Serjeant at Arms has requested all Members with rooms on the Upper Committee Corridor (North) to arrange, belonging to those hon. Members who find it impossible to accommodate these in their filing cabinets or desks.

If any Member has difficulty in finding room in his desk or filing cabinet for his papers, etc., while work is being carried out in his room during the recess, the Serjeant at Arms will make arrangements for storage.
