§ Mrs. Chalkerasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will show in two percentage figures the effective marginal rate of taxation on the wife of an invalidity pensioner with weekly employment income of: (a)£35 to £39 and (b)£39 to £44, taking into account the combined effect of income tax and the earnings rule.
