§ Mr. DeakinsEntitlement to supplementary pensions, as to other social security benefits, is subject to certain continuing conditions, and before each payment is made recipients have to confirm that these conditions are satisfied. This prevents automatic payment by the Department into a bank account. Supplementary pensioners are not obliged to cash their orders each week but may, if they wish, wait up to 13 week and then cash a number together.
