§ Dr. OwenIn 1974 it is estimated that there were some 12 National Health Service doctors per 10,000 population, the number of hospital doctors and GPs72W per head being about 50 per cent. greater than 1949. In 1972, the proportions were Czechoslovakia 22.5, France 14.1, Canada 15.8, New Zealand 11.8 and Denmark 16.3.
