§ Mr. John SilkinBefore reaching his decision my right hon. Friend must first advertise his proposed modifications, which are being prepared in the light of the report of the panel which conducted the examination in public, and secondly, consider any objections to his proposals. My right hon. Friend hopes to be in a position to send his proposals for modifications shortly to Staffordshire and West Midlands County Council which are the successor county planning authorities for the areas covered by the structure plans following local government reorganisation.
