HC Deb 14 April 1976 vol 909 c603W
Mr. Adam Butler

asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection from what register or registers originated the addresses of all the traders and other persons who received details and material of the Government's "Red Triangle" Price Check Campaign.

Mr. Maclennan

The addresses to which "price check" material was sent came from lists compiled by Thomson Sales and Services Limited on the basis of information contained in the Post Office Yellow Pages classified telephone directories.

Kits have also been sent to addresses which have been supplied as a result of advertising in the retail trade Press and of other publicity given to the availability of the kits.
