§ Mr. Harold WalkerSeveral hon. Members have written to ask me to inquire into a dispute between work people and CDN Insulation Limited over the provision of protective clothing at the CEGB power station site on the Isle of Grain. Yesterday, at the suggestion of my hon. Friend the Member for Chester-le-Street (Mr. Radice), I met a delegation of the General and Municipal Workers Union which had asked that I take steps to ensure that the highest possible standards of safety are provided by contractors engaged in building and maintenance of power stations.
