HC Deb 12 April 1976 vol 909 cc399-400W
Mr. Hooley

asked the secretary of state to Defence What action he is taking to ensure that Weapons or military tech- nology supplied by the United Kingdom to Israel will not be passed on to South Africa.

Mr. Mason

Any equipment or manufacturing know-how which the Ministry of Defence might supply to Israel would be on the basis of an undertaking by Israel that it is for her sole use. There have been no major items of equipment ordered from British firms in recent years which have not been subject to such an undertaking.
