HC Deb 08 April 1976 vol 909 cc237-8W
16. Mr. Michael McNair-Wilson

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many publications have been proceeded against as a result of the International Convention for the Suppression of the Circulation of, and Traffic in, Obscene Publications of which the United Kingdom is a signatory.

Mr. Roy Jenkins

Proceedings for obscenity in England and Wales are brought under the Obscene Publications Acts and it is not possible to distinguish particular cases in the way suggested.
