§ Mr. Barry JonesFinancial assistance to the arts in Wales from Government sources is provided via the Welsh Arts Council, which has given grants amounting to £18,085 to the National Eisteddfod during the period in question. In addition, my right hon. and learned Friend has undertaken to grant £50,000 towards the cost of a new pavilion.
