§ Mr. Merlyn ReesThe Commission is required by the House of Commons (Redistribution of Seats) Acts 1949 and 1958 to keep under review the distribution of parliamentary seats in Northern Ireland. The number of constituencies in Northern Ireland is fixed by the Act of 1949.
