§ Mr. McCrindleasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection if she will seek to amend the Trades Description Act with regard to overbooking by airlines or travel agents.
Mr. Alan WilliamsWhen the Committee which is now reviewing the Act reports in the summer, I shall consider the content of amending legislation in the light of any further representations. It is too early to say what bearing, if any, such legislation might have on the practice of overbooking.
