§ Mr. ArmstrongOn the basis of information derived from two surveys carried out by the Department of people who moved house in the 12-month periods ending October 1971 and October 1973 it is estimated that approximately 3 per cent. of house purchases for owner-occupation were partly financed by second mortgages.
