§ Mr. Pattieasked the Secretary of State for Defence when he expects the agreement with France for the purchase of the Milan anti-tank missile system to be 134W signed; and whether the cost has increased since September 1975.
§ Mr. William RodgersIf the terms are satisfactory, we expect to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with France and Germany in the autumn of this year for supply of some Milan antitank guided weapon systems along with arrangements for the manufacture of the system in the United Kingdom. As negotiations are still in progress no prices have yet been agreed.
