§ Mr. Gordon Wilsonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will now consider providing finance to enable development of district heating from Pinkston power station.
§ Mr. William RossAs the hon. Member will be aware, the South of Scotland Electricity Board recently carried out a detailed study of the feasibility of district heating based on Pinkston Power Station. The Board has now published the results of the study and intends to issue a report within the next few weeks. This report will be carefully considered by the Government.
