§ Mrs. Dunwoodyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food whether he proposes to implement in United Kingdom law the provisions of EEC Regulation No. 563/76; if so, by what means; and whether before doing so he will give an opportunity for representation to be made to him.
§ Mr. BishopRegulation 563/76 is directly applicable in the United Kingdom by virtue of Article 189 of the Treaty of Rome and Section 2(1) of the European Communities Act 1972 and requires no further United Kingdom legislation to implement it.
