§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what is the likely starting date of work on the Caernarvon Inner Relief Road, and if that work proceeds according to schedule; and in which financial year his Department will provide funds for the replacement of Twthill Primary School in Caernarvon, which is affected by the construction of the road.
§ Mr. Barry JonesAll the statutory procedures for the scheme have been completed but the precise date for the start of work remains dependent on the availability of funds. Our aim, however, is to invite tenders before the end of next year.
The position with regard to the replacement of Twthill School remains as stated in my hon. Friend's reply of 1st December 1975—[Vol 901, c. 376].
