HC Deb 05 April 1976 vol 909 c49W
Mr. Pattie

asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many of the 50 projects identified by the United States of America as being potential defence purchases from Europe are British projects; and if he will arrange for British industry to be given the list of all 50 projects.

Mr. Mason

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave to the hon. Member for Beckenham (Mr. Goodhart) on 9th March 1976 in which I advised that the United Kingdom had submitted to the USA for consideration a list of 50 equipments. All these equipments submitted are British although two of them are the results of collaboration with other European countries. As regards publication of the list, I would refer the hon. Member to the answer which I gave him on 25th November 1975. The various trade associations are aware of its contents and should have by now informed firms.—[Vol. 907, c.227; Vol. 901, c. 113.]
