§ Dr. Brayasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what steps he has taken to arrange for the publication of economic forecasts and access to the Treasury model to make forecasts on alternative assumptions, as required by Schedule 5 of the Industry Act 1975; and when publication and access will commence.
§ Mr. DellNegotiations are under way with several computer bureaux with a view to their providing access to the Treasury model on their computers. I am considering the most appropriate format and timing for the publication of forecasts.
