Mr. Greville Janner

asked the Prime Minister whether he will take steps to enable men employed in his private office to retire on pension at the age of 60 years if they so desire.

Staff employed in my Office who are covered by the principal Civil Service pension scheme may retire on occupational pension at age 60 years, if they so desire, provided that they have met the requisite requirements.
