asked Her Majesty's Government:

How many families are on the Emergency List of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive and what is the proportion from each of the major communities.

How many houses have been purchased by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for letting to emergency cases in the last twelve-month period for which figures are available; what is the maximum price payable for houses so purchased, and whether the figure is realistic in view of current market values.

When external painting of the houses and flats in each of the Ballymurphy, Moyard and Turf Lodge estates of the Northern Ireland Housing Executive was last carried out.
