§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence with what countries arrangements exist for the holding of exercises aimed at ensuring the continued security of oil traffic from the Gulf to the United Kingdom following the development by the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics of a naval base at Somalia.
§ Mr. JuddExercises take place with the navies of friendly countries, including those of our CENTO allies, as opportunities arise.
