LyonBetween 1st September 1973 and 30th September 1975. 3,813 out of 75,689 decided applications504W were refused. 2,457 of these refusals were because the period of ordinary residence had not been satisfactorily established, but it is not possible to distinguish cases where the period of ordinary residence had been broken from those where the application failed on other grounds—for example, because it had been made before completion of the required period.
