§ Mr. Crawfordasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects the work of the Ferguson Committee on the teaching profession to be concluded.
§ Mr. William RossThe special review which this Committee was asked to undertake following the Houghton Report was completed on 23rd June when its recommendations were sent to the negotiating committees concerned with the salaries of academic staff in colleges of education, central institutions and further education colleges. The Committee has a continuing remit concerning the grading of courses.
