§ Mr. Martenasked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he will list all projects in Northern Ireland which are receiving regional aid from the United Kingdom Government; and which are earmarked for such regional aid.
§ Mr. Orme, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 24th October 1975; Vol. 898, c. 286], gave the following information:
Industrial and infrastructure projects in Northern Ireland are financed from the Northern Ireland Consolidated Fund, whose income comes mainly from the Northern Ireland share of United Kingdom taxation, and from a grant-in-aid—just under £200 million in 1974–75—on the Votes of the Northern Ireland Office. It is not possible to list particular projects as being financed out of the grant in aid.
