§ Mr. KaufmanOn the initiative of my Department consultations have taken place between British Leyland and representatives of the machine tool industry to ensure that the industry has a full appreciation of the scale and timing of the company's future requirements. The Department, together with the Machine Tool Trades Association and the Machine Tools EDC, is keeping in close touch with developments.
