§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what action she proposes to take in reducing costs in administration of the National Health Service in the light of her letter to health authority chairmen of 29th September 1975.
§ Dr. OwenMy right hon. Friend has already taken action by asking authorities to review the costs of administration in all disciplines and she will be paying particular attention to policies being prepared in the Department, to ensure that they are consistent with the aim of keeping down administrative costs.
