§ Mr. Patrick Jenkinasked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will state what action he proposes to take in view of the interim decision of the Court of Justice 331W of the Communities affecting the competitive position between the National Coal Board and National Carbons Ltd.
§ Mr. EadieThe decision to which the question refers related to an issue between the National Carbonising Company and the Commission of the European Communities to which Her Majesty's Government were not a party. I shall, however, be following closely the action the Commission take in the light of the interim decision.
