§ Mr. John FraserOn 8th September 1975, 2,627 people were unemployed in the area covered by the Margate, Rams-gate and Sandwich employment offices and the rate of unemployment was 5.9 per cent. The corresponding figures for September 1974 were 1,368 and 3.1 per cent.
