asked the Prime Minister when he next intends to meet the Trades Union Congress.

I shall be meeting representatives of the TUC at the informal TUC-Labour Party Liaison meeting on 27th October and again on 30th October to hear their views before the meeting of the Heads of States and Governments on the international economic situation taking place in Paris on 15th November.
