§ Mr. Robert Hughesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what was the Government grant paid in each of the counties of Caithness, Sutherland, Ross and Cromarty, Inverness and Argyll, respectively, for the five-year periods 1951–55, 1955–60, 1961–65, 1966–70, and 1971–75 to private forestry interests (i.e., all other than Forestry Commission—and the acreage involved under the following headings: (a) new planting grants, and rate of grant, (b) dedication schemes, and rate of grant, (c) approved woodlands schemes, and rate of grant, (d) small woodlands schemes and rate of grant and (e) maintenance and management schemes, and rate of grant.
