§ Mr. George Rodgersasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection to what extent the value of food subsidies will be diminished as a consequence of the devaluing of the green pound.
§ Mr. MaclennanThe devaluation of the green pound will have an effect on the calculation of the FEOGA contribution to the United Kingdom butter subsidy; the implications of this are being considered, but for the present the rate of subsidy remains unchanged. The value of the other food subsidies is not diminished.
