HC Deb 21 October 1975 vol 898 c126W
Mr. Trotter

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many parking spaces will be provided for staff at Ashdown House; how many spaces elsewhere will be given up as a result of the acquisition; and whether the provision of the spaces is in accordance with Government policies for encouraging the use of public transport.

Mr. Armstrong

Ashdown House will provide up to 107 car parking spaces. This provision was based on the planning permission given to the developers, but in view of the GLC's more recent initiative to reduce parking provision at offices in central London, the PSA is considering the conversion of some spaces to storage use.
