§ Mr. Burdenasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what are the latest figures available to her of accidents caused by persons failing to observe unmarked glass sheets in doors, etc., and if she will consider introducing measures to increase the safety in use of such glass.
§ Mr. ArmstrongI have been asked to reply.
There are no figures available of accidents of this sort. We are considering whether we should use the powers in the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 to make building regulations to control glazing in doors.
