§ Mr. Denis HowellThe measures agreed on and recommended by my working party are proving to be successful in practice. The number of undesirable828W incidents in football grounds has been substantially reduced this season, and the new measures announced by British Rail and the Traffic Commissioners in respect of rail and motor coach traffic are proving extremely helpful. I am keeping the situation under close review.
