asked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether he will make an interim statement about the Government's views on the Layfield Panel of Inquiry recommendation concerning roads in west London.

Mr. Crosland

No. I hope to make a statement about the whole of the Greater London Development Plan and the Lay-field Panel's recommendations before the end of this month.
