Mr. William Ross

asked the Secretary of State for Trade when he expects the ground equipment at Belfast Airport to be brought up to the standard which will allow aircraft such as the Trident to land under conditions of poor visibility such as prevailed during the morning of 9th October 1975.

This matter falls within the responsibility of the Civil Aviation Authority and I have drawn the attention of the chairman of the authority to the hon. Member's enquiry.
