The proportions of the civilian labour force classified as self-employed persons, including those with employees, in Wales in June of 1951, 1960, 1970 and 1974 are shown below. Estimates for 1975 are not yet available. Estimates for 1951 and 1960 are compiled on a basis different from that used for the years 1970 and 1974.
