§ Mrs. Bainasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will list in the Official Report the schemes of road building and improvement, drainage and sewage purification which have been approved in the past five years and which have not yet been commenced on site, together with the estimated contract value of each scheme.
§ Mr. William RossThere are no trunk road schemes for which approval to carry out works has been given but which have not started. Information about local authority road schemes is not readily available. I am not aware of any substantial drainage or sewage purification schemes which have been approved but on which work has not started, or is not planned to start shortly.
