The latest information, which will be published in the October issue of Energy Trends, is as follows:

§ Mr. EadieThe outlook is uncertain because of the effects of higher prices and energy conservation and the development of the general economic situation. However, present forecasts suggest that the public supply of electricity may grow at an average rate of about 3.5 per cent. per annum over the next five years.
§ Mr. Knoxasked the Secretary of State for Energy what was the price index for domestic electricity on 1st August 1970, 1971, 1972, 1973, 1974 and 1975, respectively, taking the price on 1st August 1970 as 100.
