HC Deb 26 November 1975 vol 901 c222W
Mr. Wyn Roberts

asked the Secretary of State for Wales how many additional staff have been taken on by local authorities in Wales since reorganisation.

Mr. John Morris

On the basis of June 1974 figures prepared by Department of Employment and provisional June 1975 figures obtained from returns made under the joint manpower watch arrangements, the nearest estimate which can be made of the increase in full-time and part-time employees is 5,800.
