§ Mr. BishopThe estimated stock bio-mass of herring in the North Sea at 1st January 1975 is 346,000 tons, of which the adult stock represents 241,000 tons. The total catch in this area in 1974 was 252,690 tons, of which 105,442 tons was made up of adult herring.
