asked the Secretary of State for Employment if he will publish a list of the organisations that have successfully applied for grants from the European Social Fund during the current financial year; and how much each organisation has received.

The financial year of the European Economic Community is the calendar year. The following list contains those organisations which have applied for allocations from the European Social Fund this year, and in respect of whose applications allocations had been approved by the Commission up until June this year. Allocations recommended by the Commission's Social Fund Advisory Committee October remain to be confirmed, and further allocations will be made after the Advisory Committee meeting next Friday. No payments have yet been made by the Commission in respect of 1975 allocations to the United Kingdom.

The Department of Employment.

The Employment Service Agency.

The Training Services Agency.

Certain Industrial Training Boards.

The Forestry Commission.

The Council for Small Industries in Rural Areas and The Small Industries Council for Rural Areas in Scotland.

The Northern Ireland Department of Manpower Services.

Various private firms in Northern Ireland.
