§ Mr. John FraserOn 9th October 1975 there were 76 school leavers registered as unemployed in the Thanet area. The main responsibility for helping school leavers to find employment rests with careers officers of local education authorities who are continuing to do all they 759W can to help those still unemployed. Those without jobs will also benefit from the measures to alleviate unemployment announced by my right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 24th September, though it is too early to assess the full effects of these measures.
