§ Mr. George Cunninghamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) how many communications have been received from the Law Society about the regulations on the control of notices to quit to be made under Secton 123 of the Housing Act 1974; and when the latest communication was received;
(2) whether he has consulted any person or body outside Government about the implementation of Section 123 of the Housing Act 1974 besides the Law Society;
(3) on what date the Law Society was first consulted about regulations on the control of notices to quit to be made under Section 123 of the Housing Act 1974.
§ Mr. FreesonThe Law Society was asked on 16th June for advice on the form of the information to be contained in notices to quit. One communication only has been received from them, and this was sent on 9th July. No other body or person outside Government has been asked for advice or consulted.
