Member for Perth and East Perthshire (Mr. Crawford}—[Vol. 898, c. 28–9]—the Railway Board's preferred scheme would not satisfy the normal financial criteria applying to investment by nationalised industries. The Government are accordingly considering whether special arrangements should be made to enable the scheme to go ahead.
